Thread regarding Fred Meyer layoffs

This company is not run well and has been making decisions to hurt itself for years. I worked there for 20 years and left earlier this year to go to a competitor because the ask from the company was that I spend all of my time and energy doing the work of many people and no time for my family. The top heavy clipboard carrying upper management made so much more than the department managers that did all the work. Of course the belt needed tightening and the fat gets cut. This is just what Fred Meyer/ Kroger deserves. This company never thought of anything be the bottom line. If you don’t invest in those that spend their time and love making your money you fail.
