Layoffs today. Managers found at 10am. They had no input

Yea by next week steves rating will be like 50 percent lol
The rating reset, it just doesn't have the recent reviews. That's why there's 12 reviews for Steve.
The Glassdoor CEO Approval Rating should be reset when there’s turnover at that position. The 100% rating is for Colin NOT Steve Lucas. Steve’s actual approval rating is worse than Trump’s.

"Note: The update of ratings does not occur immediately due to website caching. You can expect your ratings to be updated within 7 business days. "
7 day caching lol.
I don't understand how Glassdoor is saying Steve has 100% approval rating. The most recent reviews certainly did not rate him positive. I can only imagine what the next townhall will be like. I'll need some margaritas after.
100 percent fake. They even add the core competencies in the review lmao
Great Leadership / Great Culture / Great Organization
Pros
iCIMS has a great culture with leadership who cares about their people. iCIMS encourages ongoing training/education to ensure we are the best we can be for our clients and each other. Collaboration across the organization is amazing!
Cons
iCIMS is great because it requires being a team player, accountability and adaptability. This type of environment isn't for everyone.
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work!
How does the new five star review get added to the first page??? Definitely icims doing damage control
More glassdoor reviews coming in. Steve probably added the 5 star review lol
Favorite part of the glassdoor reviews
"If you are related to someone in the executive suite great news! iCIMS is hiring."
so long as it isn't complete and utter slander, Glassdoor reviews aren't able to be published/unpublished at the companies discretion. To get an unfavorable Glassdoor post taken down, iCIMS would have to physically reach out to their Glassdoor rep and argue slander, but even then it's a process. I'm sure once people's thoughts have been collected, the piss poor reviews will pile up.
Oh please. They don't have a leg stand to on with an NDA. Not when they are practicing nepotism with Steve's daughter getting hired during a hiring freeze and not getting let go.
I think icims made them sign nda so they can get the severence. Icims cares a lot about glassdoor rating. That's why they have new hires add a review during their onboarding process
If they receive severance package, may have NDA built in
I haven't heard anything about NDAs. I think there are more reviews waiting to be published or people are still just in absolute shock and disgust about how this went down. It hasn't even been a week yet. It will take a few more days after being fired for the true anger to set in.
You have to sort by date. Do they show up then?
Can someone post the glassdoor posts they're not populating for me?
I don't think it's an NDA. How would they even enforce that? I think it's just people are not being as vocal about it as they ought to be
They probably made people sign an nda so they can't post on glassdoor. 100+ people gone and only two reviews?
Lmao one review mentioned this site
Very shocked there is only two Glassdoor reviews. Given the amount of people laid off I expected a lot more.
Both glassdoor posts mentioned steves daughter lol
A decent amount of labs doesn't know what they are working on. They came out of the cto meeting super confused. Such a mess
Glassdoor reviews are finally being added lol
I still don’t get what the strategy is
The townhall was rushed and didn’t make me feel better
Icims doesn't even pay market value for central jersey. Yea it was definitely Steve/vista/board (which includes colin) decision.
The townhall on Thursday was a disaster
The pandemic is changing how people work, a lot are going to work remote now. The company is a great jumping off point but has changed since Colin stepped down. There are a lot of companies hiring right now.
Did Ron and Adam leave because of the change?
They know they can pay less because people don’t have to commute to the city. I wonder if Irene is commenting on linked in posts because she feels guilty? I can’t imagine this was actually her idea. I see it more of a Vista/Steve move. I assume everyone else is just among for the ride. Although her joining the meeting the next day smiling and waving felt really wrong.
Same. With the future outsourcing and new leadership, it's an easy decision to leave. This company used to be great 😭
I’m going to leave too. I don’t see this being a one-off.
Yea im going to try to leave once this is over too. The commute was nice, but icims pays significantly less than market value for software engineers
Not the person that mentioned it, but this is what I think they are talking about

@Anonymous
Can you post that thread on hacker news? Not sure what it is
The thread on hacker news shows how they operate. Once this pandemic is over, I’m gonna jump ship.
I saw some LinkedIn posts by people that were laid off. And Irene commented on them lmao
Did they make laid off employees sign an nda or anything? Was expecting glassdoor posts from those people
definitely think some were let go for personal reasons.
Someone should ask during the next meeting how that employee retention effort Tom promised during RKO is going. Isn't it expensive to the business when they lose employees? Haha, I guess Steve's year one performance bonus is more important than people?
The outsourcing is the scariest part. Once the India office is setup, it's super easy to replace workers when they need money
They’ll say this is how we get to 500 million! We need people like Steve —- and his daughter to get us there. What the f— do I care if we get to 500 million. I don’t have equity. I’d gladly maintain where we are to give people their jobs back. There’s still so much work that needs to done on current products and companies acquired. If we slowed down and fixed that we would continue to move forward without having to outsource. I wonder what will happen to the tax grant to hire in NJ? Pretty sure that’s how we were able to afford Bellworks.
I can see Steve or Irene saying something super insensitive like "we heard you guys, we will look at kaizening the layoff process" or "the recent layoff should how adaptable icims is"
