Thread regarding Excellus BlueCross BlueShield layoffs

Having worked for several companies and have to say that Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is the best.
Perhaps it is because they are a nonprofit but more likely the "Lifetime Way" culture of the company where Customers and Employees are put first.
Leadership is open and honest, Management works hard to create a supportive culture where staff work together to execute the plan. Sure there are problems (we're humans) but costs are controlled and they do not have layoffs but rather help poor performers improve or show them the door.
During the 2020 pandemic Excellus turned on a dime and went virtual overnight with full support of management. Like all top companies they are reassessing the cost and value of offices and enabling many staff to WFH permanently.
