It doesn't count as a layoff, but I would basically call it a very perfidious way of managing layoffs - when they want to get rid of you in this company they start to overwhelm you with work that should be done by several people. I just wonder how many people have been driven away this way?

Same here. Lasted three exhausting years, burned out, packed up, moved on. Place was a sweatshop.
Yep. I had to leave because I was so overworked that it affected me medically. They replaced me with 3 people, who still couldn't get the job done.
They just overwhelm everyone. They have one person doing the job of 3 people there. I had to leave. Crazytown for sure.
