Thread regarding BAE Systems layoffs

Retention problems, Mandates, and Management

Am I the anyone on here who is baffled that we've lost so many people in the last year, and yet management still doesn't understand the source of the problem? Or maybe they wanted to downsize even more without having more layoffs and obviously won't admit their true intentions? I don't know how it is in the larger company, but we don't have enough staff to execute the work anymore as it is where I am.

Is the company is totally confident they won't lose any staff or have to fire anyone over this mandate? Certainly there are more people grumbling about it and opposed to it than one would have thought...

There's at least one area in NH/MA that's lost about 30% of its staff over the past year+.

Setting aside vaccination issues for a moment, is the attrition that bad? What divisions and where? I work in NH.

This is exactly why China is winning at everything - from kids education to hypersonic missals. Stop complaining and get back to work. You're lucky you don't have to work from 8AM to 9PM including Saturdays like they do.

You must not work at BAE, we've already been getting multiple emails about the mandate and potential consequences on December 8.

There's going to be a lot more grumbling when the "get vaccinated by December 8 or you're out" email starts hitting mailboxes. Look for it tomorrow or Friday. Let the hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth begin!
