Six Flags did layoff many corporate staff this month. It’s sad that many people who has work there for years are now gone. I understand the reason for the change to give empowerment to the parks. Hopefully they gave many of the people a great layoff package.

Agreed, I hope the packages are good. They literally laid off majority of the staff they had as part of their reorganization initiatives they implemented last year/this year. The goal of the initiatives were to allow corporate to do more for the parks and not have them worry about it but I’m not sure what direction they are headed in now.
