The hiring of DG as the SVP Sales Engineering is a disaster. He was over-rated when at Cisco before he left to Z. Now that he is here, you will see a deep decline in moral and operational. For those that have been at Cisco will see the same mistakes that turned the Cisco SE from the gold standard to the sub-standard role it was when he left. DG was a part of destroying the CIsco SE during his reign of what is known now as the Decline of the CIsco SE.

Same sh-t in PM teams in Prisma Access. How the F are these guys getting hired? AU, KR bring no value to the org. Have big titles, little to show with innovation
DG was encouraged to leave Z due to the mess that the SE organization became under his reign of arrogance. Expect the same there.
Looks like we are going down the same path as Cisco and hiring people in executive positions that don’t know security. Please ELT, do not ruin this great company with this type of approach.
I was at Z before DG came and we had an excellent thriving culture. Once DG came, it started to go down hill and many of the engineers and architects started to leave. He instilled a culture of micromanagement for the SEs that has become toxic. Now that he is gone there is hope that we can get back to a better culture. Expect to see the same micromanagement and toxic culture with him there.
