My manager was an absolute gem of a person. He tried his best to get me a promotion and a sizable raise last year… but what could he do all by himself? The leadership of this company is full of greedy and morally corrupt individuals who don’t have any integrity.

My manager felt so apologetic because there was only a tiny budget given to him for raises across his entire team. I respect him so much for his mentorship and will always continue to look up to him despite his inability to offer me anything significant in my annual performance review.

Bottom line is — The leadership of TU is rotten to the core. I had no option but to leave TU as soon as I landed a job offer from a different company. Zero regrets about my decision. Anyone who attended the TownHalls in December 2023 knows how little TU leadership cared about the lives that they had just wrecked by sending out those morbid emails… completely ignorant, selfish, and disgraceful people.

I love that 90% of this company cares less about what happens, just here for the paycheck. They’ve shown they don’t care about employees and now people are responding as such

For those in the US who blame their managers for little/no merit increases: your managers are powerless within this org. They either have to spread 1-2% budget, making everyone below unhappy, or just copy-paste numbers dictated by SVPs with no input whatsoever.

Every major company should be required to hear this speech.

It’s time for our leadership to go before Congress and provide full transparency about why they are receiving millions in compensation and benefits, while the rest of the employees are lucky to see a 1-3% increase in their pay. The restructuring happening across the company isn’t about progress or improvement—it’s driven by profit and greed. Leadership doesn’t care about the company’s well-being or the security of its data, as evidenced by the recent data breaches in the news. Instead, they are more focused on acquiring more companies without any regard for the state of TransUnion as a whole. Their only concern is how much they can extract from the company, leaving employees and the long-term future in the dust.

They cut my teams by 50% and denied a promotion request. A lot of people are going to further disassociate

In prior years I had a decent budget to work with and last year it was chopped nearly 65%. It made it hard to give anyone anything above 3%.

Of course… what else can we expect? Did you see they rolled back the 401K match also? Initially they were going to do a 5% one time match but then rolled it back
