WTF is going on with HR ? Performance evaluation process is overly excessively confusing and complex. Long & hard & arduous. Peer review process is not automated. 75 pages of instructions. While many top companies are doing away with the excessive reviews. Not Mutual of America !!! We are going in the wrong direction and 80% of employees think it is excessive and convoluted. My GOD ! HR is crazy ! Bunch of clowns.

In case you haven't figured it out yet the performance appraisal process isn't really for you to improve but to legally fire you despite good performance to avoid legal issues. You're welcome.

The performance review process is a cluster. I know a great HR Director who would do a kick-a*ss job for $200k. If Rich got rid of the current CHRO, it would save $500K. Sounds like a no brainer. But what do I know.
Look no further than the Head Clown. It’s tough enough to get managers to do Performance Appraisals. This just makes it worse. Keep it simple. But the Head Clown is so concerned with “best practices” she lacks all common sense. Now that DEI is going away, maybe she can actually spend some time on improving the work environment there. But I doubt it. She’s too busy self-promoting herself on LinkedIn. When was the last time she posted something about her “team” or the company? But I guess when you’ve accomplished nothing there, there isn’t much to say…
