Thread regarding Mutual of America Life layoffs

Can Accenture Save Mutual of America ?

TIAA just inked a deal with Accenture. They are getting rid of OMNI. Remember in 2006. TIAA switched to OMNI. It was a disaster. Flash flash forward to 2021. Mutual of America switches to OMNI. It was no a disaster but an unmitigated disaster. See a pattern here ? FiS OMNi su-ks caulk ! Hundreds of open tickets with FIS. No fixes for many of them for 3 years.

The only way to save the company is for Accenture to buy MOA out.

Hey Stevo Richo: Save the company and save jobs: sell the company to Accenture.

I would prefer to get rid of smelling the stale farts ! Let's ink a deal for first class as long as we are not sitting next to the fat guy needing two seats and a ba-f bag

TIAA inked a deal with Accenture for them to help outsource some recordkeeping functions. If you think Accenture wants to purchase a dumpster on fire floating down a flooded river......
A lot of prominent, successful, growing recordkeepers who post actual profits year over year use FIS / OMNI. OMNI has service tiers like an airplane has cabins. If you sign a contract for first class, you get fast fixes and tickets resolved promptly. If you sign up for basic economy, you get what you deserve; stale peanuts and stale farts. Which do you think MOA paid for? Clue: the OMNI move was an attempt to save money over revamping an ancient RK in house RK system likely running Cobol.
Fire the dead weight at the top.
Stop being nepotistic.
Create products and technology that people actually want. This will cost actual money not spent on the dead weight at the top
Promote and properly pay the people in the field working to actually service the client.

Rinse and repeat. All day long.
