Well, after almost 7 years at NYP, my time ended this morning. I believed these snakes when they said the lay offs wouldn't go beyond Memorial Day, but my director told me today that there are more scheduled for the rest of the month. I will take my 6 weeks severance and try to pick up the pieces.
Good luck to everyone at that sinking ship. I will never work for such a cut-throat uncaring organization again. I will also never go to NYP willingly ever again. May this organization and there corrupt and uncaring leaders fail and be treated as poorly as they treat their employees.
