It’s amazing how often I hear from “leadership” but only when they’re pushing PAC contributions or fluff like welcome-back breakfasts. Not a single message about real issues like compensation, workloads, or the leadership exodus. Just merch giveaways, pancake days, and another PAC email asking for donations. It’s tone-deaf and insulting. We’re drowning in work, underpaid, and being led by people who think swag bags will fix morale. I’m done pretending like any of this is fine.

Hey
I'm the guy who posted this @1ae+1jy4b65yp
I read the thread for the second time and I just saw it only refers to PAC e-mails. I thought the thread also referred to general company wide e- mails so I guess that now my comment is a little of topic.
Sorry about that
I agree that all of those emails are bullsh-t, and to be perfectly honest I rarely read that at all. Mark as read usually does the trick.
However I must ask: Where did you see that important company issues are taken care of via company wide e-mails? I’ve worked at several companies and not in one have I’ve seen these issues discussed openly.
Yeah it's funny how everyone pretends to be proud Americans until you dare to say something that actually reflects American foundational values and then they're shocked at the wrongthink and you're persona non grata.
Was approached by co-worker to contribute to PAC years ago. Informed him political campaign financing is a we-pon of oppression and I was not d-mb enough to give him money to oppress and exploit me. The look on his face was priceless just like my LIBERTY AND EQUALITY.
@a7 only certain salary grade levels are eligible to join the PAC. Probably automatically get emails at a certain threshold grade level is my guess.
But fluff is so much easier than running a company in a responsible manner and respecting your employees!
At this point, if I see “PAC” in the subject line, I just delete the email without reading it.
They're definitely tone-deaf. Like, read the room, please...
@a7 I'm not the OP, I certainly didn't sing up for anything, and I keep getting those emails as well. Please, if you know how to stop them, do share. But I can guarantee you that I didn't opt in.
I've never gotten one of these PAC emails you are always complaining about. Sounds like you foolishly signed up to be on an email group that you didn't really want to be a part of.
