Austin-based software company Khoros will lay off 116 employees between August 19 and August 29, just weeks after being acquired by IgniteTech.
The layoffs include senior managers and at least one vice president, and are expected to be permanent. No bumping rights will be offered. Khoros was acquired on May 27 by IgniteTech, which is owned by ESW Capital. The company had 173 local employees in 2023, meaning about two-thirds of its Austin staff will be cut.
