Boston Metal has temporarily delayed layoffs for 71 workers. The job cuts at its Woburn facility were originally set for March 14. New funding allows the company to retain employees until April 21. An accident at its Brazil plant caused a financial setback. The Woburn layoffs are expected to be permanent.
