I've stopped learning people's names. By the time I figure out who reports to whom, they reorganize again and everyone moves. It's been three or four restructures since I started. None of them made anything better.

@bv thrown overboard and better for it! Believe in yourself and your abilities. You can achieve anything!
@bw Correct. These people at the top have no actual real work to do, so to look "important" they breaking things that are completely functional, and ignoring the obvious things that need to be fixed asap. They are not only useless, but destructive. It takes 6-9 months to figure out what is going on after a reorg and that is assuming you kept your same TL and DL. They want to go back to the days where TLs rotate out every 2-3 yrs. Even though that strategy was awful, shown to be horrible, and yet here we are. Whatever we say is working, ELT says "okay, let's break it and stop it.". Whatever we say is broken and needs to be fixed, ELT doubles down and thumbs their nose at us. I don't like use the word "hate", but I'm at the point where I hate these people in leadership. They behave like malicious ghouls.
Same. Since I came over from a competitor a few years ago, it’s too hard to figure out with all the constant changes.
I went through a reorg before ER and in my role for six months until I finally asked someone who the he-l this dude was that kept coming to our meetings. Oh, he was the GP guy who reported to Chubak. lol. Didn’t care tho. Still don’t. All id--ts.
It feels like we are reorganizing the deck chairs on the ship while we pretend there isnt a giant hole in the bottom of it. Anyone who speaks out about the hole and the ship taking on water is thrown overboard because of "culture"
