I've heard there were some reductions in severance in the latest round, is this true? I find it hard to believe the company would stoop so low to try and save even more on employees it's laying off, but with so many things (negative) going on lately, I guess it could be true.

Big enough companies like Zebra will typically provide enough severance to avoid litigation, which costs the company more with legal costs, position, age, seniority are all factored in, length of benefits coverage is also an element of severance, there are those with short service who received much more than two weeks per year but very short benefit coverage, and those with long service receiving much longer benefits coverage.
2 weeks per year of service. Outplacement assistance.
