Tough week for Rapid7 Moose with the 18% reduction. Seems the focus was on cost cutting of expensive employees and not really looking on improvement initiatives in flight or who will drive those initiatives forward. Seems like R7 took few steps back. Looks like short sighted decision or intentional as an acquisition is coming. I bet on the latter. Great company and definitely will raise again. Stay strong Moose who are still there and who were let go.

Plenty of deadwood but not 18%. Not uncommon as a business grows with competition for good people being high. Time to get leaner and meaner as we look to prune and move into being profitable. Let us hope the business keeps the right people and not just those who make noise but don't add business value!
