I was informed. I’m not happy. If I wanted a role that is different, or has less base to offer, I would have never joined this company. Rug being pulled from underneath the people working the hardest to keep the remaining clients makes NO sense.
This is a way to eliminate salaries for commission, and lower the expenses. The roles being impacted will not be in a few months. Employees can either go for a role that is opened, find a new role outside, or wait until December when you’ll be forced to leave with no severance.
This is a Hail Mary. Make no mistake about it. Outright layoffs will be next more than likely. Or more of this. Have you ever bought a car that was a lemon? Same principle.
