Layoffs have been are being carried out over three days. Everyone would be notified by end of day today.
The size of the layoff has not been communicated and has sent a chilling message to everyone.
The excuse is that orders have decreased. Management seems really determined to cash out their bonuses, even if that means laying off a bunch of folks.
Salary increases were halted for 2023.

Was anyone essentially forced to resign in December? I'm an intern and refusing to resign after they pressured me to do so, and I'm beginning to think they're threatening me because if I don't sing a resignation letter they're going to get into trouble with WARN.
Advice: Bail out, resign, head for the exits. I left high-tech and found a sweet job in the public sector with full pension, regular pay raises, no overtime.
