Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Cannes! Rome!

The globetrotting just doesn’t quit! HR Susan and the international sales team just spent an amazing week in Rome discussing salesy stuff. The posts on social media are cringey. Since when did we have an intl sales team? Was it created after they laid off all the people we actually need?

It seems the new work culture is stay out of the office, travel, do the minimum. I haven't done anything for almost a year yet TU got rid of people who were producing work and had deep knowledge. I guess the less you do the better you are in the eyes of the company. Nobody has said anything to me about future projects, work goals or going into an office. For me this is great and I, like leadership, am going to Europe soon.

Absolutely disgusting...They have no shame.
I remember many years ago, right after a large TU holiday Layoff they installed an expensive fancy fountain dripping water in the lobby of 555 W Adams...
I used to comment how that fountain was built on the "tears" of all the people who lost their jobs and their families who lost their benefits...
That being said, some will know who I am now. :)
Shame on TU and their new leadership driving this once great company into the ground...
Wish you all good luck and know TU has been paying us undervalue and there are many jobs out there that appreciate people and allow for full remote work.

One C-suite exec's post starts off with "We spent a lot of time talking about the Five Dysfunctions of Coaching ... Coaching starts with building trust".

Should we be discussing the 5 dysfunctions of TU leadership instead? They clearly haven't built much trust with layoffs and shipping jobs overseas.
