Nearly a month after Cabinetworks Group announced that they were closing their Thompsontown assembly plant, we now know how many employees will be affected.
abc27 news reported back in September when Cabinetworks Group first confirmed that they would be closing their assembly plant facility on 12393 William Penn Highway, which is the largest employer in Juniata County.
According to a WARN Notice that was filed with the Department of Labor, Cabinetworks Group will be laying off 420 employees.
The layoffs are set to begin on December 9 and will continue through December 21.
