I think it's fair to say everyone commenting is very able bodied and brilliant.... what has held you back from finding independent wealth? Do what you're good at without a hierarchy paving a road for you.

Good question! I think for me it's courage and a sense of what direction to take. I also fear over-regulation of small business. This was evidenced during the covid era where big box stores remained open yet small businesses were forced to go under. Regulatory capture is real.
I do aspire to live out what you're saying, though.
Wow.. Such a great advice. I never thought about being wealthy. I guess I was just born in the wrong family.
Ah yes, why didn't I think of just being independently wealthy.
