8:30 call was for managers and described the email again. It was not notifying who is affected. Only how leaders should interact with their teams. And even then, was not that much better than the email.

Don’t freak out. The 8:30 call and the morning one is for people managers only, even those that are getting the notice to go it sounds like. Just more interested if they are giving a timing on when everything would be announced or meeting scheduled.
What is this 8.30 call? Was the entire company invited. Some of us have no idea what this is referring too. Should we be worried?
I have always been addicted to my work, but I just can't be productive lately..I don't have any energy or motivation..I don't know how to fix that if I stay
Thanks for the update on the 8:30. Is the 7:30 AM just a repeat? No update at all on if those affected has been notified? Or who’s even doing the notification? Would it be our manager or external firm working with the firm that made these decisions?
I waver between a feeling of urgency to finish projects in progress for the sake of the people who would benefit from them, and saying “well if Cargill doesn’t care then why should I?” I have a personal sense of responsibility and a high standard for my work, but it’s getting really hard to hang onto that the longer this drags on.
8:30 call was a waste of time. Just a reiteration of the email and some corporate speak that everything was and is hard.
