Just thinking about all the money we spent on a new HQ in Wichita and all the renovations in the plants completed in the name of employee engagement just to lay off those employees. 21st century business at its finest

Wichita HQ was free...leased to Cargill and the lease costs were equivalent to the 10 year tax break given by Kansas to stay.
Nobody seems to understand this, in an era where companies like Prudential and Ble Cross are vacating campuses and selling them for development.
Exactly! what about all the spending at HQ? who needs a food truck alley??? ridiculous
Same with the poorly thought out Atlanta hub and MN HQ. Embarrassing display of living in the past and ignoring the reality of remote work future.
