Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

hearing Brian, I believe it.

I believe Brian, when he talked at the town hall. It's not because they don't want to do better.

It's because they can't . This is the best they can do.

The eternal problem at cargill is the lack in skill of the executive leadership. It was true under Dmac, and it continues to be true now.

It’s like kids running for school president “two proms!!!” “McDonald’s in the cafeteria!!!!” “no homework during the week!!!” - I would LOVE to know when he said double in size, what is the path. We won’t hear about it though because they don’t know and it is just wishful thinking

Double in size by 2030, when we’ve proven we can’t operate profitably what we’ve got now?

I am not sure a company that wants to be in forefront of things had no regards to knowledge transfer. All I hear is speed and agility, but agile also means to ensure to ensure knowledge is maintained. When the company eventually enters the next phase where we are modernizing we are going to have people do the same work which someone else was doing but the knowledge wasn’t preserved.

So I am sorry but the narrative of speed and agility doesn’t cut it.
