Since Morinaga bought Tofurky/Turtle Island Foods, sales have not improved, new products have floundered, and it's still losing money. To fix that, layoffs have begun, and this is on top of attrition by those quitting for healthier companies. Is the end near?

I'm not sure the end is near, because Morinaga is doing what it can to make Tofurky successful. That said, the only thing Morinaga ever does is cut costs. And the Tofurky employees hate the new management. Yes, there are a few su-k-ups leading the Japan team from Morinaga to believe they love the new management, but those folks are just holding on for a better job elsewhere or their layoff money.
The problem is, Tofurky has been unprofitable for a long time. And now that it can't just ride the fake meat gravy train up, it is unable to grow sales even with new products.
So, more layoffs are coming for sure.
