Having 99% of your Energy team in a sales capacity leaves UTi with an empty shell for their Energy Vertical. Some investments in facilities and staff have been made, but I feel the "build it and they will come" is not working.
There are only a handful of energy clients. If any client does a due diligence visit and digs deep, there is no substance. It is all smoke and mirrors.
The corporate clock is ticking at UTi, and I honestly think the investment company (major stockholder) and other stockholders are not going to let the bleeding continue. I give it 1 year, tops, before it either sold or cut into pieces.
