I am curious does other admission departments stalk potential prospects like we do?? I believe that this type of call strategy is what got is in this problem recruiting non-driven students.

I'm a student at Springfield, MO campus and i caught on quickly to the B.S. that is being taught. I can care less about the degree and the paper it is written on. The true reason I'm there is to finishing using up my G.I. Bill money or what I call paid vacation before going balls deep into my business money. I laugh at this school every time I walk into the building and see the F.J.A's (Future Janitors of America) sitting in the classes absorbing useless info. I will give it to the teachers for being able to make some of the people believe that they can become something other than a hamburger flipper or a broom pusher. Personally I enjoy (this part will give my identity way) walking into class late and after missing class for 2 class days and never miss any useful information that would help in the real world job. I'm still not sure how long this Springfield campus is going to stay open specially running out of a building that the basement has water in it 80% of time (black mold) or the faculty members just up and leaving (least 1 a week). I wish future students of this college the best of luck and FYI I should be in class right now learning about something that has nothing to do with my degree but instead I'm self-educating by using my little brother Google.
"Do" other ADMISSIONS departments... Plus the last sentence is a run-on. Come on Wendy. You went to a good school.
Well , It is Springfield ........ LOL
894: ALL Everest schools do the same pushing. As long as the candidates can fog a mirror we sign them up. Most of our students fit your student description. However, we continue to sign them up to collect their money and give them shit for degree. We finally figured out that the CJ program is a complete waste of money. The rest of the degree programs don't worth anything since nobody can get a job after they finish. What a waste of money and time of people who need to be in a trade school or at a burger join flipping the burgers.
This school is pushing through students for the money. Though some students should be at a real school because they are bright, most couldn't pass junior high with the level they are at. But we push them through because we too just want the money as they do. The students flunk the first time they take a class, so they can take it again, its all about the money for them. But the degree is not even worth the paper its written on so the only true person hurt is the taxpayer that absorb all these costs when they never pay back the loans. They were wrong when they said everyone should go to college, the PC people must someday accept there are DUMB people in the world and better to teach them a trade than to waste money on phony degrees that just dilute the concept of a undergraduate degree. Sorry Moms, not all your little "Jimmmy's" are as smart as you think, statistically only 30% are. It always amazes me how dumb the students can be, when they can't follow even the simplest instructions. As an unscientific test, I ran a set of instructions by my 9 year old and he got them clearly in the first reading. Yet some of my "college" students never do seem to get them. It's the Bell curve in action and we are putting all of the right side into college with the expected results being delivered.
