They buy a company and then steal all the profits for pointless dividend payouts. Every dollar paid on in dividends is 1 dollar less for the company to use for investments.
Because it is now running under an idiot old-cranky Turkish who likes Egyptians kiss-assers... :-)
Smith is now completely Indian-neering (cheap, no field experience, fast mouth)
Revenue-wise, Smith pulls in less than 1% of total revenue for SLB and is a kiddy-training-ground for the "hi-pot" (females, Arabs, etc) on their way up...
