Epiq is not what it seems and they have a bad habit of treating contractors with disrespect. Hard work and dedication does not pay off at this company and the most disappointing part is that, when it comes to layoffs, job cuts or workforce reduction of temporary workers, Epiq is known to treat contract workers (during the day of employment termination) as thieves, convicts, felons and prisoners instead of professional individuals who are entitled a proper farewell and the right to say goodbye to their coworkers and friends. I’m surprised that they don’t call SWAT, Police or Armed Forces. I mean seriously, who does that? What type of a cruel employer strips contractors of company assets within minutes and just kicks professionals out the door, especially after giving it your best? If you want a real job or career, this is not the place. Also, I’m not too confident that things will get better even with the Epic Systems merger. Hopefully an ethical CEO, Executive or Board Member will step up and bring the company up to speed on 21st century best practices.

In the midst of the covid-19 crisis the company decided very early to let go of a good chunk of its employees. It took only one day to kick us off.
Except for the fact that most contractors at epiq are not citizens, have been sponsored, and therefore accept the low pay, sadly.
Best description ever! Very true about how they treat contractors. Contractors at Epiq Systems are 2nd class citizens.
