Thread regarding Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc. layoffs

Good company but cause for concern.

I worry about the future of the company. New CTO came in and axed a bunch of key people. Not only that but decimated the staff of key revenue stream systems, during their peak traffic and revenue period, leaving no one left in case of trouble.

The new CTO came to Colorado and said the location was secure and no considerations were being given to close the office, but less than 6 months later all 30 of us are gone.

It's age discrimination and falsifying the data breaches they have suffered. A new class action lawsuit is unverway that will expose this corrupt company.

Blackhawk has been acquiring other companies for at least 2 years and synergies are taking place. With that said, it is normal to expect layoffs. The Lewisville office in Texas has been hit as well.
