A minor round of layoffs just took place in the North America region. Rumour is 60-100 people. PMs, BAs including VPs were included. No press release so no way of knowing the exact numbers.

All were mostly senior level folks and the number was in north of 150..
Currently running layoffs for India office from last couple of months ..
Today (20th April) Sapient (globals + nito) fired 100 approx people .
They hired people 6-10 months back giving high salary and now firing giving reason they don't have role for them .
Hopless company
Lists included most of Senior folks only
It was much closer to 100 than 60. Possibly even slightly more.
All departments were affected, mostly senior folks. Creatives including CDs and ACDs, Account Directors, PM leads, and so on.
