I am very tired of this. I just joined the ornament club again. Maybe that explains why I didn't get the ornaments ordered. I'm afraid to hand in my Dream Book list. The same thing happened to me a few years back.
i know they are at Walgreen's. Are or will there be any other places like this?

Hallmark store is closing here in Westfield Mall, Palm Desert California. Will miss the gals there.

All of Nevada is corporate. They have slowly been shutting down one by one. The latest is closing January 27 2018 at Meadows mall 89107. It has been in that mall for over 30 years. The employees are fantastic. I will miss them dearly.

Two Corporate stores are closing in Chattanooga. Only one privately owned is surviving. If you shop there, you'll understand why the private store is still here! It is fantastic and the owner is wonderful.
I once had 9 Hallmark stores. Closed them all. People are sending fewer cards and you can buy a Hallmark card just about anywhere (drugstore, supermarket, post office, etc.) so why make a special trip to a Hallmark store. Corporate Hallmark abandoned their independent network. Fincnially crushed a lot of families.

Yes, Hallmark no longer cares about the mom and pop stores anymore and if you look closely at their website, you will see they sell so many products that the mom and pops do (Yankee candles, willow tree, etc). Add that to the free shipping they offer and the mom and pops are just a free pick up site. 😡
Look for a lot of the Kirlin's owned ones to close this year after Mother's Day as owners decided to retire rather than see the the business get further torn up in the battle of the brothers in court.
Most Hallmark stores are independently owned and operated so it's hard to tell when (if) they will close. Hallmark has turned their backs on the independent stores and will now sell to anyone. So overall I think a lot of them (independent stores) will close when their leases are up. Corporate stores seem to be closing their mall stores when leases are up also. Hallmark seems to be making their money selling to anyone so why keep the stores open?
Several will close this year and the independents in small towns will be forced to close. The corporate office has a practice of "selling to anyone" and is now limiting independents in their ability to sell online. This is the way of the future, yet they are clearly squashing all competition. They have become a horrible, one-sided, greedy, corporation.
