Thread regarding Aon PLC layoffs

Aon seems to target employees for layoff based on any employee manager issues or reached out to HR seems to be laid off.

Employees are either fired or laid off with no notice. There seem to be widespread discrimination and unfair practices. Has anyone experienced this ?

When it’s time for lays offs, Aon lays off minorities. Minorities are not promoted anyway. They will take the opportunity to lay off a white or two if this person is losing accounts, so as not to look racist.

Reassigned to a new manager earlier this year. Right away, my new manager started laying into over minor/ no issue things, repeatedly made threats to fire me and bullied me. Alight wants people to quit so they don’t have to pay severance and hire someone for less. If you express any interest in development or a new role, you’re no longer considered a team player and you must hate your job.

Yes, wow this is what happened to me. I reached out to HR for an issue, the next day I was laid off. Hmmm....
