Do you have an updated list of restaurants that Texas Roadhouse will be closing in 2017. It's my understanding that a large number of locations will be closing and that closures may take place over 2018 as well. Also, aside from TR, what other restaurants in the same business may be closing and laying people off.
Please share if you know more.

They are not closing it - there were several TV stations that had a report on this - I think FOX Houston did a story. You can find it on YouTube - so, no closing of any Texas Roadhouse restaurants.

Probably started by a shareholder that wanted the price to drop so they could by a larger controlling interest. Shareholders panic, cash out, price drops, instigator swoops in and buys up more. SEC should watch any large buys closely.
