Houston-based NRG Energy said it laid off employees in Texas and around the country on Monday and Tuesday, as part of the company's effort to cut costs, slash debt and boost its stock price.

It's the same everywhere. Executives, supposedly the best and brightest in the company, have only one go to method to save themselves and their over- valued worth. You would think that after so many years a creative one would come along.
