Unless I'm missing something very few IT people have left. I think we are WAAAAY overstaffed. Very few of us work very hard. Goff has no clue how little gets done.
The upper management are busy trying to figure out how to stop the bleeding of cash over at Zenith Education. Someone's head is gonna roll over the nearly half billion dollars that's be lost so far.
Out of touch is an understatement. I can't believe how much this place has changed. I used to think I worked for the best company. No more.
I'm disappointed in our leadership. I'm close enough to the top that I know all of them pretty well. B squad level at best. Lots of whining, gossip and a utter lack of strategic leadership. And I don't understand why we have IT and Foundation staff and leadership in one of the most expensive cities in America.
Who has left recently? None of the senior management has left because they know there's zero chance of finding a comparably paying job anywhere else for such incompetence. I've never worked somewhere that so handsomely rewards this level of mediocrity.
We are spiraling down hill. I don't understand our mission. We lack vision. But it's time for me to get back to setting up defaulted borrowers on rehab.
I've been in collections all of my career. I made a lot more a few years ago at ECMC but I still make more than I have ever made anywhere else and more than any of my buddies that work at other collection agencies. But i do agree that the culture is a lot different here than it used to be. We seem to have lost our heart if that makes any sense. Which might sound odd coming from a collector.
Have you checked the 990 filings? Lots of your people make massive salaries. Your board is one of the highest paid non profit boards in America.
No one gets paid 6 figures anymore collection defaulted loans there and the fact that the liberals lost has nothing to do with the company going under, it is going under because they do not value their employees any longer!
No one leaves ECMC. Where else do you get paid 6 figures to sign defaulted borrowers up for loan rehab? Answer=no where else. Employee appreciation days to thank us for bringing in hundreds of millions more from borrowers who defaulted do to a horrible education like they get at Everest Zenith or whatever it is called now.
ECMC is going under since the liberals lost. No more robbing the tax money for you.
