Many companies are laying off right now. I am interviewing for Sonicwall and I wanted to see how employees of Sonicwall feel about the company and any layoffs for 2018 that may be taking place right now - I was trying to see things on Glassdoor but I am unable to find any references for layoffs.

This company is having some MAJOR challenges. It seems the new management changes their strategy every other day with no "light" at the end of the tunnel. They laid off almost all the inside managers and a lot of inside sales team in March 2019. The folks who were not laid off are leaving in droves. They are trying to sell the company so the bottom line is important to show on paper but like they say " buyer beware".
This company s a MESS. I've been involved since the time Dell acquired then sold with the sw group. They fired almost all the legacy leaders who were solid, brought in an HR team that is completely clueless & ruthless not to mention they know NOTHING about the SonicWALL sector, competitors etc. So sad, such a shame to see what's happened to this once great company.
Sonicwall is a formally great company that is now in total disarray and falling fast due to cynical layoffs that are designed to temporarily prop up the bottom line. They laid off the more expensive and higher performing people, some of whom had been had been overtly critical of senior management's channel stuffing to prop up numbers. This company is up for sale and essentially running a "pump and dump" operation. Stay far away!
I am selected at SonicWall at Bangalore as a developer .....Please tell about the job security and other Pros & Cons.
I am going to join SonicWall at Bangalore .....Please tell about the job security.
The "new" SonicWALL is a disaster - leaders brought in my the PE firm who owns them who know nothing about what they do. Poor leaders who just laid off the entire NorAm sales crew, many who are expert at what they do but owners could care less. don't waste your time with this company.
Don’t do it. They laid off top performers with 15 years of success
Just laid off their entire management staff and 1/2 the field sales team - many with over 10 years experience - no explanation given.
They just laid off a bunch of their sales staff. So yes, they are laying people off.
so is Sonic wall laying people off? if so, what reasons are they giving staff?
Yes OP, many companies are laying off, and it's all a big cover up with the media endlessly telling us how "Awesome!" the economy is and how this is the "Lowest unemployment in history"
It's all a lie.
