Do you think there may be small/medium/large Royal Bank of Canada Layoffs in 2019?

There are layoffs... they are just hiding them. Fund admin part downsized 20% and lost 70% of revenue.
"The investor and treasury services division had a 71% decline in earnings to C$45 million after the bank pursued a “repositioning” of the business that included C$83 million in severance costs in the quarter. Royal Bank has pared roles in Europe and reduced its footprint in Australia as part of what McKay called a “quick pivot” into Asia."
These are not layoffs. RBC is not hurting financially and continues to earn more than $10B a year in profit. RBC embraces "dumbsizing". 2019 should be no different.
why 2019? 2018 there are layoffs galore
