Terminated over 350 plus full time sales reps, managers, area managers January 18th 2019. Will leave far less organization leadership and sales.
Going direct does drive down cost
But sales go down as well !!!
Great idea when you are looking to sell the brand!!!
See Kellogg’s selling Keebler
I am a DSD I work 7 days a week for little pay ... When it was family owned it was much better ..... Your statements tell me obviously you don’t know what you are talking about !!!!
Look at the cuts in shelf space that Kebbler took .... Then look at the product not available! DSD can get it refilled quicker and maintain inventory levels during peak seasonal times as well as crucial on sale times ....
I’m in the stores every day how about you
LAZY?
Learn how to spell. I hope Campbell’s takes all of the snack products, Goldfish, Milano, SnydersLance,Cape Cod etc, and gets rid of DSD and all of you Lazy, Crybaby IDP’s. Once they go to Direct warehouse ship like Kellogg’s did with Keebler, their sales and profitability will dramatically increase. Most of you IDP’s buy a job, not a business, and you are no good at it. Time is running out for you IDP’s , that is certain.
I think they need to lay more mangers off still to many
They conducted a 25% head reduction a cross the entire company last week, with additional cuts coming again in June. These cuts will definitely be detrimental to there business, resulting in loss and sales and market share. However, it will TEMPORARILY boost their bottom line.
Company no longer cares about their employees. New leadership is just concerned about cutting cost which they will do by eliminating jobs
Former employee
they just sent 70 fulltime employees jobless starting jan 18th 2019
