Do you think there will be Ascena Retail Layoffs in 2019?

This company’s marketing and HR department are a joke! They waste their time with advertising like cheesy invitations that store workers have to fill out and distribute (and that don’t bring in new clients) have the store workers make phone calls to existing customers (still not bringing in new clients) and ask the employees to create Instagram accounts but then expect them to use it on their own time! (Tell them not to use the stores name so they aren’t “working off the clock”)
They refuse to do any major advertising like using signs, newspaper ads or local radio stations!
If they go under 50% of the blame is on marketing and 50% is the treatment of employees causing low morale! They are more concerned about numbers than the actual performance of their employees. They also refuse to fire managers that micro manage and treat their employees poorly. (High turn over rate)
The company is imploding!
I have a offer from Ascena Retail in IT, looking at the current situation i am wondering if i should join or i should go with another offer.
I think I seen that this feeling to realize that we are a clothing store. Closing! Their answer to fix all problems are making everyone get more credit cards. They are more focused on credit cards and they are selling clothes !!
Ascena stock price down to .73 cents today (June 20, 2019) Wow.
My understanding is that if stock is below $1 for more than 30 days, a company will be de-listed from the NASDAQ. What will happen to the shareholders?
Last I checked, at least 17 law firms have joined in on the Class Action Lawsuit against Ascena launched 2 weeks ago (for Securities Fraud) This just keeps getting worse.
Top executives (Jaffe and others) drove this business off a cliff. One of the topmost mismanaged companies in recent history. Late to the E-commerce game, not keeping up with trends, HUGE debt load (over 1.4 BILLION) also burning thru all their cash on hand. Corporate ideology is archaic, not using technology to cut operating cost, marketing, etc. The stock price is lower now than in 1986, Congratulations on taking a company from almost $ 23 dollars a share to .95 cents in 5 years.
Cleaning house starting w/ the Jaffe's and Lynch was a huge help for 2019. Problem is they messed the business up so bad it will never recover. They probably have enough to retire on ha ha, but sadly the other 30,000 emplyees they screwed over do not. What about the investors? doubt they like seeing it get delisted. Thoughts now Cramer??
closing all Dressbarns. 600+ stores.
plus corp people.
I am betting that it is happening some time this month.
Great indicators of layoffs looming are negative numbers in these two areas
Net Income per employee (NIPE) -630.00 ( how much revenue each employee brings in, higher the number the better, but not a higher negative number)
Ascena Net Income $-39.70M loses
