Looks like we are in for quite a ride here at IKEA. Around 7,500 jobs will be cut as part of the restructuring.
I also understand that IKEA is creating more jobs than removing, but that's not much of a comfort to those of us who are in danger of losing our livelihoods and have no chance of applying for one of those jobs.
It would have been nice if there was more info given with this announcement, just so we know where we stand. I hate the thought of not knowing if I'll be affected for who knows how long.
