Thread regarding Unilever layoffs

Unilever management driving the company in to the ground

When I started at Unilever,it was called elisa Gibbs in the UK.and when I say it was a good company to work for.im lieing.it was a brilliant company.staff perks.mangament interaction.etc.no one ever left.if ever a job vacancy came up 1000s of people applied.now these days I'm embarrassed to say I work for Unilever.all is previous beliefs are now gone in the destructive presuit of profit.so many freezes due to cheap raw material as Unilever squeeze the suppliers.whilsr charging premium prices to the consumers.im scared for the future.i work at Unilever Leeds.thr most profitable Unilever site in the world.and all we are told is that we are the biggest deodrant site in the world.but there are others.and we can move where ever we want to unless you do what we day..they are changing our shift calendars saying to be flexible.but told us we will cover overtime ti payback.it a fooking joke.

Same in the USA. Have worked in Jefferson City Missouri factory for over 15 years & there’s so many bosses & less people on the production floor. 2 bosses for every 4 workers. Mechinery is failing because there is no $. Although they hire so many bosses. Talk about having their priorities in the wrong places.
