Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

where's the inflatable rat? where's the signs? where's the noise, the red banners? Where's the rallies, the hats, the debate, the fighting? Makes you wonder if we'll get anything from the union but a "sorry man". When the union goes to management and talks about how we've been flexible sending operators to the yard...having mechanics doing work in both plants, shipping techs to Danskammer, doing construction work, roofing, insulation, bathroom renovations...don't forget that it was the same guys busting their ass on those coal trains in the winter on midnights that are going out the door first....not the old farts on days that would have bitched and moaned if you asked them to do anything out of the ordinary...we did it without complaint, without grumbling...now you motherfuckers can take our shift jobs and work some midnights...you 70 yr old fs that will bitch that the company ain't giving you shit...think of the guy who got 5 years and didn't get 30 years of living high on the hog like you.... you the f that voted yes to f us out of a defined pension before we got here...get a life outside of work you useless piece of shit...what the f are you waiting for...a fishing pole from AIM?
