Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

Up until recently, the 2 Power Plants at DNE have been manned by a skeleton crew of about 115, or so, Local 320 union workers. It takes a minimal of this many to safely they need workers that have the knowledge and experience that cannot necessarily be found in a manual or on a computer screen. They need workers that have proven, time and time again, capable of operating and maintaining these units to trustfully cycle as needed. The owners of these facilities know that their credentials, to both the Power Grid and to the Insurance Companies, depend on the reliability and assurance that the workers in the Roseton & Danskammer Power Plants provide. So, through the combined efforts of a solidified Union Shop, the owners will quickly learn that they will either get 115 of us, or they will get none at all ... IBEW Local 320 - Union Strong and Unified!!!
