2014 Cuts
The situation is pretty bad right now and morale is low, we are experiencing pressures across the board and it's difficult to say what 2014 will bring. We've seen some cuts in our IT group but 2014 cuts will be much broader, finance will be hit, we might a bit better off on the sales side. We will also see continuing cuts on the VSM front, reducing and outsourcing work, RIFs will continue and outsourcing will continue, there is pretty much no escape right now. This is not a Company phenomenon, all of our peers are going through the same process, cuts in the VSMs are a monthly thing for almost our competitors, so we should not be surprised if AYI continues to cut. Just my 2 cents...
