Is Metric Manipulation used to avoid severance

I have heard from multiple individuals now that they are being investigated for ‘metric manipulation’. What is being manipulated? What kind of culture has this company created? An insider insight is appreciated.

People laid off in tuition period

Going off the posts a few weeks ago, if anyone was laid off and had time remaining on their tuition obligation did HR mention this at all during the meeting ?

Can you get your bonus if you put in notice?

If the next bonus payment is 6/7 and Adam Drudges email said “the only contingency is that you remain an employee at 2u on the payment date” can you get the bonus if your last day is 6/7 or 6/10?

Tuition update

I put in my 2 weeks notice following my last post and through my exit interviews no one mentioned anything about tuition reimbursement. I looked at the workday profiles of the “tuition team” I used to email and they have all been “terminated”…so... — read more

275

I applied for my 275th job today since being laid off in October. If you still have a job at 2U, you better be looking for work now. Don't wait for the next round of layoffs. It's pretty bleak out here.

Why Do We Have an L&D Department?

Why is there an over paid learning and development department if 2U hasn’t hired new in several years? Now L&D creates new initiatives of meaningless work to show they are busy but not really impacting the bottom line.

HQ to officially close on May 3rd, 2024

Well we all shouldn’t be surprised. We all knew this was coming, however, sad. They are looking for another office space for the very few employees that do want to work in the office, however, I just don’t see the point.

Always evolving

Notice there has not been any layoffs in quite some time? Holding on to you hat for the next one with the hopes of a severance? Good luck! 2U is now putting people on corrective action so they can fire them and avoid paying them severances. Instead... — read more

“You have to trust us”

I commend everyone who came on camera and spoke out today. Especially the SSA who summed it up. We can’t afford to live. They are tone deaf and have a few million bucks in bonuses as the rest of us do the work to bring in revenue. While it will never... — read more

Positive outlooks?

All we see and hear about is the negative press and the sh-t show of leadership in the company! I am genuinely curious if ANYONE has even a sliver of hope for the future of this company and its employees?

Thoughts on the studio

I haven't seen anyone’s thoughts on the new creative filming studio spaces. Is there just no talk about it anywhere else because it isn't well known or is it just that no one cares?
