What is included in the redundancy package in Scotland? What does SLB offers?

If you worked international you may have some other benefits particularly if you were part of Smith International. I actually got paid 3 amounts in total from 3 different countries
Not being an HR man I can not give you any more information than I have given you really. For the last two rounds I was a rep for the employees so I do have a small insight into how it will work. If you are employed by a company in the UK no matter your nationality you will be and are in fact under the same laws. The EU and UK citizens all got offered the same deal. Therefore I would assume that if you are a UK citizen employed in the UK {but you may work abroad as part of your job role} you would be subject to the same laws and rights.
Over and above the minimum package that I quoted in an earlier post everyone's circumstances will be different such as pensions etc, so that is a question for your HR department really.
By the By I will not bother being an employment rep this time, I am sick of working with the threat of loosing my job hanging over me like a dark cloud. This time I am taking the package {if I get the opportunity we have not had any news where I work as yet} and move onto some thing new. A completely different field out of oil for good is my plan. If I do not get a package then I am saving my money at the moment and early next year I plan to move on.
I really wish you all the best in Aberdeen and I hope that for those of you that loose your jobs this is not the END but the BEGINNING of something new and exciting - on occasion we all need a kick up the ass to make changes for the better and I hope for you guys short term pain will result in a happier future.
Thanks for answer uknowme.
What if you were international before? Does it change anything in statuary calculation?
Also, what about pension?
Standard package will be:
Statuary legal package - you can calculate yours on the UK government redundancy calculator. That will give you a legal minimum that SLB will have to pay out.

Plus an enhanced element providing you sign a settlement agreement agreeing not to sue for unfair dismissal. plus a payment based upon any holidays owed to you. {I guess you have been encouraged to use your holidays this year in one form or another as we have}
From memory that is how it worked the last two times this year here in the UK.
I think you guys have it much better over there in the States #SLBSEVERANCE
