Do any divisions allow much work to be done at home? Have any divisions discontinued the practice?

I had a job where I worked with folks who WFH a lot and I know a lot of these people were abusers. Just not engaged and seemed to have a lot or personal things that would take them away from work. And really had no understanding of plant processes. With the type of work I do now, I could actually get more done by not having to drive 40 minutes each way and attend the worthless morning meetings. A lot of my work is responding to production issues via emails and making updates to keep things going. I discussed with my boss, he wasn't to keen on the idea. I actually like going to the office/plant and interacting with others but have to admit not nearly as much as I used too (gets harder everyday).
At the Phoenix Deer Valley facility, I worked from home (WFH) for two years until we were told we could not WFH anymore. I went to the facility only a couple of hours a week for meetings and hardware related issues.
Working from home, I had a hard time knowing when to start and when to stop working, because I needed to meet project milestones. The two years working from home I averaged 78 work hours per week, even though, as a salaried engineer, I got paid for only 40 hours per week. I know for a fact, I am not the only one that worked a whole lot more than the normally required 46 hours/week.
Honeywell lost big time when the WFH option was k–led. Now, I go to work everyday and put in my 40 hours/week (not 46), and I don't care about milestones anymore.
depends on your manager.I know of a few folks consistently working several days per month from home for their basic 40 - although they don't record it as such.

This gets audited in florida regularly. about one or twice a year I get a call from somebody that wants to audit my timecard against my badge in/out record. my boss complains that I don't record all my work time and says they need me to balance the other freeloaders who don't have work. Do they really want me to charge the hours of ping pong I and youtube every day? #millenniallife
Apparently the OP who asked this question has no knowledge of Honeywell and/or how the employees have been treated over the past several years. I wonder where he/she came from.
2 face managers and directors lie in the interview giving people hope that Honeywell has great remote work policy. Then they turn around once you are hired and say no one can work from home.
I used to WFH and was a very high performer. Got a lot done, worked a lot of OT. Then they changed the policy. I was told to be in the office min 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. I was offered the option to work OT from home. Now I work exactly 8 per day 5 days per week. No more OT.
Work from home allowed only after you have done your regular shift at the office 😀
Work from home was discontinued at all divisions about three years ago. There may be some very limited exceptions on a special case basis.
