And so the demise of the worlds worst tech organization is once again validated by CNBC (https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/16/oracle-orcl-earnings-q4-2020.html) and other industry analysts. Not even Safra Katz or Larry will be able to talk their way out of this one given the fact that they never truly had a true, corporate strategy. And so goes the ongoing mass exodus of key Oracle executives (and sales reps) now and into 2022, amidst the ongoing internal bloodletting in the Oracle colosseum by salespeople trying to post a deal, any deal for Q1.

This is actually a really good post. Oracle hides its layoff strategy well from Wall Street.
Finally, however, I think investors are catching on to horrid management and its mass exodus of customers...

Everyone in my group that was laid off was 50+ years in age! I heard there is a large class action being filed.
Oracle is irrelevant in modern architecture design. It has already died. But much like its stone age predecessors from the 1970s it will aways be around in fossil form, making people think such a beast still exists.
The vast majority of customers are still on Oracle only because they have not figured out how to migrate the data off Oracle and to the cloud. Given a clear roadmap they would be gone tomorrow if they could.
So Oracle dies the slow death of a thousand cuts as each customer slowly but surely modernizes and closes the horrible chapter known as being an Oracle customer.
This particular layoff cycle REEKS of age discrimation!!!!!!!!!
It’s true. I was just laid off from Oracle on 6/17. Large group of us including Program Directors and Managers
This is nothing new. We've been laying people off and on for the past 5 years.
